To what extent does devemed specialize in dental instruments for women in dentistry?


Our focus is on specializing in the ergonomic and practical needs of women in dentistry. We have recognized that standard dental instruments are often not optimally adapted to the anatomy and needs of women. That is why we offer specially developed instruments. 

 Lightness for joint-friendly work: Our instruments are designed to be extremely lightweight. This helps to minimize stress on the joints during long treatments and enables fatigue-free working. Ergonomic shape for delicate hands: We understand that women often have finer and smaller hands. Our instruments are ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably and securely even in delicate hands. 

Special models of dental forceps (devemed GES-LINE ADULTS S): These dental forceps are specially adapted to the anatomy of women's hands. They have a particularly small handle and are lighter, but offer the same working end as conventional dental forceps. Aesthetic design instruments: Our instruments are not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. They fit perfectly into modern and stylish dental practices and contribute to a pleasant working environment. 

Collaboration with female key opinion leaders: We actively collaborate with leading female dentists such as Henriette Lerner to continuously improve our tools. Through this collaboration, we better understand what women need in dentistry and how the handling of our instruments differs from traditional dental tools. 

Regular feedback from female dentists: We place great value on feedback from female dentists. Regular feedback allows us to continuously adapt our instruments to the specific needs and requirements of women in dentistry. We also encourage you as a customer to provide us with your feedback and suggestions for improvement in order to continuously improve our products (shop@devemed.de).

How do I return an item?


We understand that there are situations where you may wish to return an item. However, please note that returns will incur a charge of 15% of the value of the goods. This is due to the individual laser marking of our products. Each product is specially marked for you, and removing these markings in the event of a return involves considerable effort for us as the manufacturer.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Medical devices: As our products are medical devices, we only accept returns of goods that have not been in use and have not been refurbished.

Unpaid shipments: Please note that we cannot accept unpaid shipments.

Complaints: If you wish to make a complaint about an item due to a defect these are excluded from the regulation of return costs. Please use our special complaint form for complaints.

In the event that you make a return due to a complaint, please note that this form must be completed in full (all fields highlighted in red are mandatory) and returned to us together with the goods. Incomplete information will lead to delays and queries or, in the worst case, to the complaint not being processed or evaluated by us.

- Please complete this form for each item (item number). It is not permitted to enter several different article numbers.

- In the case of complaints due to instrument breakages, the broken parts must also be returned, as these broken parts are required to process and evaluate the complaint.

How does the delivery of my dental instruments work at devemed?


After you have placed your order, you will automatically receive an e-mail with your order confirmation. Your order is now being processed. As soon as your order has been packed and left the warehouse, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to track your shipment.

Which parcel service is used to deliver the dental practice equipment?


Shipping in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is carried out by UPS.

How high are the shipping costs?


We charge € 5.71 net for shipping within Germany - free delivery for orders over € 100. The shipping costs for Austria are € 15.90 net. For Switzerland, the shipping costs **excluding customs clearance** are €19.90.

Is it possible to change or cancel my order?

Is it possible to order from devemed as a guest, or is registration required?


As an online store for the dental trade, we are only allowed to supply specialist clientele such as dental practices and dental laboratories. For this reason, you must register before placing an order. Guest orders or orders from private individuals are therefore unfortunately not possible.

Which payment methods can I use?


You can conveniently order on account in the devemed online store. Alternatively, it is also possible to use PayPal or pay in advance.

How sustainable is devemed?


Our company is actively committed to environmental protection and sustainability in the dental industry. We have taken a number of measures to minimize our ecological footprint and at the same time offer our customers high-quality services.

- We consistently use paper in our packaging. We want to ensure that our packaging is environmentally friendly and recyclable. We attach great importance to quality and sustainability in our products. 

- We only use stainless steel for our instruments, which can not only be recycled, but also impress with their durability. This reduces the need for new production and thus conserves resources.

- To further reduce our ecological footprint, we offer our customers the option of climate-friendly reusable shipping. We make this possible by using reusable packaging that is returned to us after use. This system helps to reduce packaging waste and minimize the environmental impact of shipping.

- Another important aspect of our environmental commitment is the planting of trees. For every order of dental instruments, 50 cents are collected and donated annually to tree planting organizations and bee protection projects in Germany. Through this measure, we actively contribute to improving air quality and reducing CO2 emissions. In addition, we try to keep our office as paperless as possible in order to conserve valuable resources. 

- By selling directly via the devemed online store, dental practice equipment is sent to the customer without detours - this saves unnecessary transportation.

- We have installed a photovoltaic system on the roof of our company building, which supplies us with electricity from solar energy. This enables us to cover part of our energy requirements ourselves and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels. Our company fleet, most of which has been converted to hybrid vehicles, is also charged using solar energy. Some rooms also only have motion detectors to use light only when needed. In addition, the mindset of saving energy is anchored in the internal company values - every employee is encouraged to take responsibility for switching off lights and heaters when leaving rooms. 

- Individual home office solutions are provided for employees who travel more than 25 kilometers to work. This also saves important fossil fuels. 

- In order to use our resources efficiently, we have set fixed shipping days on Wednesdays and Fridays. This helps us to make optimum use of our machines' capacities and avoid idle times. This measure allows us to make our processes more efficient and at the same time reduce our environmental impact - less cleaning agents are required, energy is saved and water consumption is reduced. 

- Finally, in the devemed head office we make sure that we only heat the rooms that are actually used. This helps to save energy and avoid unnecessary consumption. By controlling the heating in this targeted way, we reduce our energy consumption enormously and make an important contribution to protecting the environment and conserving resources.

Overall, these measures demonstrate our commitment to sustainable and environmentally conscious corporate management. We are proud to play our part in protecting our planet - at the same time, we are aware that this journey is an ongoing process and that we are committed to constantly optimizing it.

For what reason can certain products not be taken back?


We generally exclude certain medical products (e.g. implant products such as osteosynthesis screws or membrane pins), refurbished items or products that must be shipped under special conditions or stored in a cool place from returns. The reason for this is that we cannot be sure whether these items have been altered, how they were stored by the customer and what temperatures they were exposed to during the return. This serves to protect your patients and the quality of the goods.

I can't find a particular product in the online store - why?


Please contact us by email at shop@devemed.de and we will help you to find the product or an alternative. The quickest way for us to identify the product is if you have a manufacturer part number and/or a photo of the product to hand, for example.

How do I manage orders for multiple practice locations?

What if my item is currently not in stock or not in sufficient quantities?


All products that are in stock will of course be dispatched immediately. If it is necessary to reorder something, we will send you the materials as quickly as possible in a second delivery free of shipping costs.

Is it possible to track my shipment?


Yes, you will receive the consignment number by e-mail.

Is express delivery possible?


Due to the individual laser marking of each instrument after receipt of the order, it is unfortunately not technically possible to ship by express. Our shipping days are Wednesdays and Fridays for logistical and ecological reasons. Ecological because the largest possible number of dental instruments are prepared and labeled in our machines - thus avoiding idle times and conserving valuable resources.

When and how will I receive my invoice?

Vouchers and discount codes can be added directly in the shopping cart. You can do this by clicking on the "Checkout" button in the "Enter voucher code" field

How do I get my shopping cart discount on my instruments for the dental practice?


The discounts in our online store are staggered. This means that you automatically receive various discounts from certain shopping cart values:

- From €250 value of goods 5%

- From €1.000 value of goods 10%

- From €2.500 value of goods 15%

- From €5.000 value of goods 20%

How are invoices issued for partial deliveries?


Only the goods that you receive with the shipment will be invoiced. The subsequent delivery will then be invoiced separately and without shipping costs.

Is it possible to save my shopping cart?


Yes, as a registered user, all items in your shopping cart are automatically saved. The next time you log in, it will be available again.

Is it possible to change my customer profile?

How long can I return items?


Subject to a processing fee of 15% of the value of the goods, you can return items to us within 14 days of the invoice date. You will then receive a credit note for the corresponding value to your customer account.

When will my return be credited?


We will try to process your return as quickly as possible - if outstanding amounts have not yet been paid, no credit note will be issued. We will then charge a 15% processing fee.
